So it ran great a few weeks ago and now it idles and runs fine until you stomp it at which point it tries to die and blows smoke? Is that the situation?
The first action is to get under the hood and look for disconnected or defective rubber induction couplings. Splits in those can be difficult to find and often open only under pressure. Bosch LH2.2 goes to open-loop when the TPS signals like 90% full throttle. In open-loop the ECU has no way to know that much of the air the AMM is gauging isn't arriving at the engine so it stumbles and blows black smoke until you let up on the throttle.
If you're seeing blue or white smoke then you have an oil or coolant related problem and you'd have different symptoms than you are describing, some of which might be evident at idle, cruise or even engine off. A badly worn turbo will blow blue smoke as it burns oil but won't try to kill the engine. And turbos don't (typically) go bad when parked anyway. There is a small possibility that your turbo got wrecked the last time it was driven, especially if it was well-worn and shut off when it was red hot. In that case you'd almost certainly hear it making noise.
If this problem only happens when you boost hard, look at the air plumbing.
