A/C evaporator moisture seeping into passenger side floor ...

so I water tested those drain lines with a hose - water freely exiting the car. no water entering the car at all. my mechanic found a small break in that rubber seal that I guess is supposed to seal out moisture, and he siliconed that to see if that might be the culprit. but running the A/C still causes moisture to collect under the carpet and i'm wondering if that whole seal might need to be replaced.
if anybody has any thoughts? Thanks!
