Paint on convertible windshield 'frame'
Posted by Shauno [Email] (more from Shauno) on Fri, 16 Oct 2020 07:39:54
I'm trying to understand whether the paint around the windshield is supposed to match the body color. I believe the sides are meant to be flat black. But there's a wider panel between the windshield and hood (that the wiper arms come out of) that seems to be more of a flat black on my 94 900 CE convertible. But, I'm not sure if it is supposed to be the body colored 'Nova Black metallic'.
I've looked at so many photos of various 900 model year convertibles online only to find that some seem to be black, while others are body color matched.
Maybe it doesn't matter, but I'm finally getting a repaint and want to do it right!
