If you have the wide rear trunk spoiler on your vert and your spoiler wraps the car completely, (large rubber trim on door tops) your car came with a semi-gloss or satin black cowl. 1992 was the first year for this, so as far as verts, '92, '93 and '94 verts have a semi-gloss black cowl. They became flat with sun exposure. Spray can junk will buy you two more years of semi-gloss/satin, then the sun will fade it right back to oxidized flat black. A proper basecoat/clearcoat paint system with a flattening agent added to the clear will return it to original and give you approx. 10 years of UV protection before mother nature turns it back towards flat black....
