Leave it to Jon to make it simple for the rest of us. As a side mark if it was a grey market car( other country car imported to the US before it was 25 years old) it would have a sticker in the door jam stating the company that had imported the car and state that it was federalized. Another note when I had a car delivered to an airforce man in Germany it had the US emission sticker and the owners manual had a folded up US wiring diagram attached to it for repairs if it was taken to repair facility over there. It spent a couple of years there before it came here. Good Luck, Bernie
