No I don't actually know how to test the switches but I'm sure I can figure it out. I've had this car for about 6 or 7 years and the top has worked the whole entire time. I've owned solved for 25 years but this is the first time I've ever had any issue with the convertible top so it'll just be a learning curve I'll figure it out I'm sure. I'll start testing everything with the volt meter I just figured I would post the question to see what other people's fixes have been in the past. The emergency brake pulls up the light comes on. If that happens should the switch work after that? I just don't know in what order everything should work properly. I know the e-brake turns everything on. I have checked all of the fuses. I will now start checking for power to everything. I took the back seat out I'm pretty sure I heard the relay is clicking. That was about a month ago that's when I gave up. If the valve is turned to the manual position does that turn the motor off. When I put that new fuse in I did forget to turn the valve. I thought turning the valve just bypassed and let the fluid go by so you could manually take it up and down I didn't think it had anything to do with the actual motor but was wondering if it actually turns off the automatic up and down. Thanks
