I switched out the Fuel Pressure Regulator as suggested however the missing and stumbling problem continued. Since I had already switched most other possible components with no solution. I replaced the Hall Effects Sensor in the distributor. The connectors are good on it. I really thought it must be it because I read, they can be problematic and cause symptoms like I was experiencing. Plus, it was just about the last component I had not switched out. I was super optimistic that it must be the 'culprit' and went to the major trouble of replacing it. However, it was not causing the problem and I apparently removed a good sensor which are almost impossible to find these days. The car still missed and stumbled open acceleration. I was so disappointed and I am running out of ideas of what to try next. I am not sure whether it is a fuel or ignition problem. Although I am leaning towards ignition problems. Someone suggested putting a fuel pressure gauge on it to verify pressure. I will have to find the correct fittings to do that. I am also considering it might be bad gas however it seems like it would run bad always not with just acceleration. It seems like a long shot but I do not know what else to try now. I am really about at the end of my rope with this continuing problem!
