you can find detailed drawings of the internals by searching for "Seiko-Seiki ss170PSS"; there is also a good set of pictures on the Saab Central forums, in a posting from Oct 8 2017 in the C900 Workshop list. And there used to be a Santech Catalog on-line (#RM-2014, pdf file is 36MB, 564 pages) that had detailed drawings plus spare part lists for all of the Seiko-Seiki compressors, but I'm not sure if it is still out there...
A big problem with repairing these things on your own is having a good way to test it when you are done, pros will have a vacuum test station where they can pump it down, leak check, and pressurize it to make sure it actually compresses with a charge of refrigerant or air.
