My 2¢…
SPG panels are declining in value. Most everyone who wanted them got them by now and nearly all of the used ones need to be refinished. Convertible rear SPG bumper extensions are hard to find but can be replicated from the hatchback versions so not that valuable except for an SE or SiS restoration and not that many were ever made and most are already collector cars. I’ve seen several cars at the boneyard with SPG panels left behind when they used to get stripped the first day. The wheel arches are still valuable because they often get damaged. Factory Whaletails are hard to find but few are in good shape and not everyone wants them because they are hard to repair, heavy on the lift gate, and not that well-made from the start. A nice carbon fiber replica for $500 might be popular for a few enthusiasts looking to trick out a c900 hatchback. 16” wheels are still popular and getting hard to find. Authentic Red box APC’s also but other than the color, not that special. The real value is in 5 speed transmissions which will never be cheap again and thanks to Chris, they are still available. Without him, many more c900’s will get scrapped. The real value in parts going forward are the basic ones not available on-line or at the corner parts house vital to keeping them on the road.
