Hello,
First I do not recommend running without the booster completely even leaking it is probably doing more than you think. But maybe it isn't.
Disconnect your battery and connect the pos and neg cable together for about 15 minutes to completely clear the ecu's memory. It is probably used to compensating for the large vacuum leak and needs reset to start learning again. Good Luck, Bernie
