Is my LH working? It's a question often with a no start situation. For a distributor mounted one, I recommend this:
1. remove the distributor holding bolt.
2. slide the distributor off the shaft slightly, but keep your timing right by not twisting it.
3. Pop your dizzy cap and unplug the lead from the coil (to avoid sparky sparky).
4. key on.
5. spin the rotor by hand.
If everythings working as expected you should hear the injectors fire, and the fuel pump pushing fluid through the fuel rail as the hall sensor gets triggered.
If you don't, time to start figuring out what's going on, but it's a good bet your CPS is not working.
In your situation - you don't think the fuel pump is running. If you jump the fuel pump does the car run? If so, you definitely have a crank signal. If not, you could have an issue with the crank signal, but you could also have an issue with your spark. I would verify spark as well.
Did you verify the fuel pump relay works?
