So I took the clutch out and replaced the seal behind the flywheel. I'm still getting oil leaking I'm pretty sure it's the plate that that seal goes into is leaking somewhere on it. Any thoughts. The seal went in just fine I've replaced that seal multiple times. I sealed the bolts for the flywheels so that's not it. Slave cylinder is not leaking. It is actually leaking without the car running I completely cleaned everything off come out this morning and now there is oil leaking down it looks like behind the flywheel and I have not driven the car so it's not flinging all over the place I'm pretty sure I need to take that plate off that is behind the flywheel. This car was an automatic that I turned into a five speed I have not taken that plate off in 10 years so I'm guessing it has sprung a leak. Any thoughts would be appreciated I may not be thinking of something else that could be leaking in that area.
