Replacing Fuel Pressure Regulator - Best Source for part Posted by Matt Grimes [Email] (#2198) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Matt Grimes) on Mon, 14 Aug 2023 17:19:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm looking at replacing my fuel pressure regulator on the 91 C900 Turbo Vert. Getting misfires on cold start, and misfires under acceleration. Wondering what sources people are using for this part. I'm having very limited luck and what I am finding cost a tad over $100.
Sometimes these parts were used on multiple cars and curious if anyone has found a compatible substitution?
I did find a Beck Arnley 158-0163 Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator that looks like a possibility on Amazon. It says it fits a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo and lists a compatible part number of 0280160214. The number on my regulator is 0280160255 and is 2.5 Bar unit.
I do have the Swedish Dynamics Stage 4 upgrade installed with higher flow injectors.
Thanks,
Matt
