Hey,
Fall in Vermont is moving on and pretty soon it'll be time to put the Saabs to bed for the winter. I'm starting to plan out a couple of projects for my '93 Vert (140k miles).
It has a bouncy shifter and my guess is that it's motor mounts. Three questions:
1. I've heard that it's most likely the front one, which is pretty easy to change, as opposed to the rear driver's side. Do you advise trying just the front one? Or bite the bullet (or the alternator in this case) and change them all?
2. I'm not seeing good sources in the US for both front and rear mounts. Checked EEURO, ESaab, and Rock Auto. SaaBits in the UK has both front and rear. Any other source recommendations?
3. I'm assuming from pictures that my mounts are hydraulic. Rock Auto as a non-hydraulic front mount from ProParts. Can that be installed? Is it recommended?
Thanks so much. I'll post the second project in a separate post.
