The 'solid' rubber mount ones are mostly total crap. I had one break and reveal that the main bolt only went in about a half an inch. Precisely where the entire mount ripped.
MCS sells poly kits but it may be even rougher than the rubber ones.
I wish someone would figure out a better solution for these motor mounts. Some really soft mounts + adding a torque damper or something
I just use the crappy rubber mount ones and replace them as needed. They're pretty cheap even though they suck.
FWIW it is absolutely possible to replace the drivers side mount without removing the engine, it just requires so much tomfoolery, chinese finger trap, triple backflips to get it in and out, I would never recommend it. I did it once and it took me several hours! I should have just pulled the engine.
