I'm looking for a solution to my power antenna draining my battery (confirmed it is this circuit).

I bought a used Saab power antenna and now the same thing is happening with the "new to me" old replacement antenna motor.

Has anyone ever rigged up an on/off switch to disable the antenna motor when not needed?

I don't really want a non-powered antenna and pulling the fuse every time is a PITA.

So if you have experience doing this, can you respond and let me know what you did for an on/off switch for the antenna motor? Or any other creative solutions?

I realize that the antenna motor switch would need to be ON before turning the radio on for the antenna to raise.
