Hello everyone,

I had to replace my indicator stalk again and in doing so I realized the one I replaced it with the first time was from a pre 87 car.

I remember when I first did it I just plugged it in and the indicators worked fine but when I tried the cruise, the car put the pedal to the metal without me touching the accelerator.

The workaround for me was to unplug the green wire from the stalks connector and put the yellow wire where the green one was. I just taped up the green wire and don't use it. The only caveat is that I no longer have the resume function.

I could never remember what I did to get the older stalk to work but since I have it out now I thought I'd share for posterity.
