Thank you for the information. The address in the link is where I mailed the deposit check and where he received it in mid-April. He seems to still be at that address.
In mid-May I contacted Russell to get an update on him working on the '83 Turbo. He responded telling me that he was getting his own Saab ready for "Saab's at Carlisle 2026" car show. Then at the end of May I reached out to him again for an update. He responded by telling me the car was at a "friend's shop" that is experienced with the Classic 900.
Seems to me Russell is part of the Saab community in the southern PA area near Harrisburg. Most likely someone knows where he and the '83 900 Turbo are. Apparently, he has had some recent health issues, which is why I have been patient. As I previously mentioned I would like to finalize purchasing the car. As you might imagine I am concerned about this situation and the fact that I am out $4,500.00 and I am unable to contact him.
