A few tricks i use to clean CIS injectors(learned the hard way)Pull 12 volt wires from coil, then pull injectors up out of manifold remove boot over the air balance at the fuel distributor, and get a good strong magnet over the centering bolt.Turn ignition on to run position, now go back to injectors and hold them all together and then lift magnet and it will pull up air balance and you will be able to watch the injectors for spray pattern.Any injector that do not produce a nice fine spray mist need cleaning(if you see drops or streams instead of a fine mist, you have drity injectors) Now to clean go find or purchase a small ultrasonic cleaner large enough to hold injectors and clean with liquid carb cleaner as liquid in bath of sonic cleaner. You will need to open the pintle end of the nozzel on injectors before you place them in cleaner to be cleaned. To do this use the flat end of a wooden tooth pick and gently open the pintle nozzel from the side, when opened hold open with the small end of another tooth pick soit remains wedged open. After about 2 hours in the ultrasonic bath remove and using a spray can of carb cleaner with red wand extension nozzel spray up thur injector from wedged open pintle end to clean screen in nozzel by back flushing it.Do all 4 and retest on car before you place them back in intake manifold-you will find a big improvement in spray/mist.Good Luck any questions email me. Hell ship them to me and I will clean them if you want.I can find a old set and ship you those to use while i clean yours
