I have a set of cross drilled rotors on my 87 SPG which I purchased from group-6 about 100K miles ago. Although I haven't had track time, I do notice they don't fade like the old one & the power does seem to be a little better.
I am doing a brake conversion & have the 88 & newer style rotors I am going to install. I went with cross drilled again as well as carbon pads.
YOu will also want to consider the braded brake lines
