Thanks monster, now its done the wife will get it and I'll get the Expedition. But the rest of my thoughts are on the above posts. And some total disapointment but to each his own.....
I must be alittle immune to the cost of some HP or not to irritate anyone but on my car scale $100-$250 is not a lot of $$ to pay for a car part. When it hits $700+ than its getting a little pricey, but I guess my thoughts on home made stuff is that if it works for you than great. But after 15+ years with making HP there isn't any cheap HP. Period. It might not cost you at first but in the end its going to cost. You will get what you pay for, and thats why I do an engine rebulid I spend the cash. Does it need it, usually no, but then when I get the chance to blast past someone at 10'000 ft and not to worry that something is going to bomb out. Plus when guys at SPG 9 or SD spend booko bucks on development and testing. Plus if something craps out than I can go to a great company to help me out. Like Comp Cams or MSD, great customer companies. Plus the old do it yourself stuff make me leery, because if I get stuck because something craps out on a Homade Build, irked I would be. I've lost a rod thru a hood because of "cutting a corner", and seen flywheels take guys toes off from explosions for the same reason. Plus the SPG 9/ SD guys aren't a non profit company, so what the heck the more $$ they get the more toys you can get....(or copy!) Plus when you get the stuff from them you will get them at a cheaper product, the more folks that spend the $$ the better the future products will be.
