Before posting this message I had rounded one of the torx bolts. I was hoping that there were other bolts connecting the seat to the seat's adjusting mechanism, so that I could bypass the rounde bolt. I ended up cutting a slot on the head with a Dremel, and then using a flat head screw driver to get it off.
I soldered the break in the seat heater element, and reinstalled.
