I am having a few minor problems with my saab 9000 turbo 91'.

1) The air conditioner will only blow hot air if it is on the "HI" setting. If i drop it down one notch to the 84 degree mark, it will start blowing cool air. What would be causing this, and trust me it is not more that 84 degrees in that car when it does it.

2) How its the turbo meter supposed to work on the dash. It is a small ark that starts with green then goes to yellow then to red. Is the green when it is not being used... and the yellow when it is being used... and the red .. it is not supposed to be in the red? I was just wondering.

3) Recommedations on brake pads?

4) Regarding the fan speed on the air conditioner. I have replaced the blower motor and the transistor on the control unit.. Thanks to Quasi. But I am still having a few problems, or either I just dont know how it is supposed to work. The fan sped works really strange. You have to hold it down in order to get it to blow faster, but I think this is what the transistor does, but I still think it should work like you push it once and it goes up one. Also, I will not let you ajust the fan speed if the temps are at extremes... If it is set on "LO" then it will only allow the fan speed to be on the lowest setting, same for if it is on "HI".

5) How much would it cost to get a new cigarette lighter thing so that I can put it in that slot made into the back of the middle consol, mine in the front is broken, and Im going to put a cd player in the place of the ashtray.

THANK EVERYONE SO MUCH... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
