OK, here's my two cents-
Funny thing is I just swapped my '95 CSET which displayed the same "full boost in cruise" characteristics for a '94 Aero which doesn't seem to boost all that much while in cruise. Am I to understand that this is normal cruise control behavior, and my '95 had some newer technology? Interesting, I just assumed that my '95 was normal. My '85 900T doesn't boost worth a damn in cruise either, which, come to think of it, would reinforce this logic. Don't mind me!
