After missing my 1990 900t for over a year (I had traded it for a Subaru Impreza 2.5RS - Nice car, but dumbest thing I ever did), I'm back. Recently purchased a 1996 9000CS(lpt), and I am back in SAAB land. Woohoo!

Anyway, I have an intermittent problem in the steering system. Once in a while (not consistenly) when turning the wheel to the far right or left, I hear a "popping" sound. I can also feel the pop in the steering wheel.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this? Your help is appreciated.
