... the lower ones went first. In this situation, the engine might have dropped a bit (as on my '96 Aero - I was getting a "clunk" on taking up the drive) or might do soon, which will put a strain on the flexible joint in the exhaust and fracture it in no time. SO the sooner you check them - and replace if necessary - the better.
