They are correct in saying that a converter can be installed behind the dash where you would hook both the changer and in-dash CD players, and then to the receiver so that both units could be used. In that instance, the in-dash CD player would show up as "AUX" on the receiver, and the changer would show up as "CD".

Mine came with both.

I also got rid of the ashtray and installed the cupholder in the top spot. I drilled a 13/16" hole into the cubby box at the bottom to re-install the lighter so that I could use my radar detector.
