Those rims will offer better handling but....they're kind of heavy and thin. They weigh 23 lb and are 16x6.5, It's easy to find an aftermarket wheel that weighs about 18lbs (I'm working on something that weighs about 15) and will be 7 - 7.5" wide, which will put more rubber on the ground with the same 205/50 r16. 5 pounds less of unsprung weight will make a nice improvement in handling as well a marginal increase in acceleration.

Right now i'm the process of refinishing, by hand, the ugly edges on my aeros. I plan to use them for 205/50 r16 snow tires as my 185/65 r15 Gislaved's are great in the snow but feel like glazed doughnuts in the twisties...

...But if I ended up using my aeros for summer tires again, (they are goddamn pretty on that car) I'd check out kumho 215/50 r16's which will only set you back about 75 bucks a pop.

Just to make matters more complicated, I were going only for performance, I'd get a set of Team Dynamics 15" motorsports, which weigh only thirteen pounds and put some 225/50 r15 stickies on them.
