re:cabin heat problem is similar to an episode with my 87T. The problem was a bad contact in the wiring connector to the servo motor that controls the temperature flap("air door"). If you find that the connection to the flap lever is ok when you look under the a/c cover to the right of the "aquarium" cover, then run a ACC diagnostic by pressing "auto" and "vent" simultaneously until "88" flashes in the display. The fault code will then indicate a jammed servo or open circuit.I don't remember what the code symbols are but I learned this procedure from this database (try search for "acc diagnostic") It took me along time to trace the bad connection,(I suspected the ACC unit or a bad servo at first).in the meantime I disconnected the flap lever from its cable and set the temperature flap at medium position so that I could drive in comfort while I mulled over the situation.
