I have a 93 9000cs (non turbo) automatic with 136,000km. I bought the car 1 year ago (previously 1 owner with full Saab service history at 100k) & have kept up it's services ever since.
So far I have had to:
- replace the water pump
- replace the DI cassette
- patch up the windscreen washer reservoir (hope I don't have to replace)
- now have a bad oil leak where the bell housing meets the engine
- replaced 2 seat belt buckles
- pulled the dash top out twice to find / stop rattles
- pulled both front door trim off to find / stop rattles
- pull out boot trim around antenna to replace & find / stop rattles.
My experience is that my car is unreliable with an assembly quality standard that Saab should be ashamed of. This despite it being the most pampered car I have ever owned. Handling & feel of the car is excellent though.
I will not be buying another Saab again.
cheers
