1991 9000 Turbo
I took off my valve cover to replace hardened/leaky gasket and also to inspect chain, etc.
My chain appears to have about a 1/4" of travel between the cam sprockets. I don't know what is acceptable but it seems to be a bit stretched. The sprockets look good.
When I do this I want to do it right the first time. I would like to replace both chains and any suspect sprockets, guides, tensioners, etc. Where is the best/most cost efficient place to buy the parts needed? What should I replace or should I try to determine that when I have it apart? I'm hoping to avoid a lot of downtime waiting for parts. I plan on taking of timing cover when I do this, and I did see and read the procedure on Quasi's site.
What did you replace, where did you buy the parts and what was the approx. cost? I'm hoping for a one-stop online store for the parts to make things easier.
