I officially AM my own worst enemy. :(
I have a 1993 9000 CSE (Auto and 2.3 Turbo) and in the process of changing my radiator - I had to disconnect the battery. In the middle of a somewhat difficult step it started to rain lightly. Went inside and all of a sudden the rain was coming down in buckets... with my window left open and no safe way to close it.
Needless to say, the water shorted my power window switch - but I was able to clean it and dry it and it is now working again.
However, this morning all of a sudden smoke starts pouring in the cabin from the air vents... the lights start flashing on the ACC unit and then all of a sudden it shuts off.
The rain might have been coming in hard (and sideways!) enough to have hit the ACC unit. Does this sound like a possibility? Or might there have been anything that resulted from changing the radiator?
And mainly, will this require a new ACC? or do you think it could work again after it dries out?
BTW, checked all the fuses - everythings okay.
