I have seen a couple of cracked ones now. It's where the valve cover arches over the last cam bearing.
The coolant pipe and thermostat needs to be tighten down in steps so that you don't allow any tension/side forces to work on the O-rings.
Saab dealers even glue the pipe to thermostat housing. I haven't had to do that yet though.
