Hello,

I've read many postings on the subject of the V6 and see that the major concerns other than its not as SAAB as other Saabs, are belt/tensioner change, oil in the plugs, persistent valve cover leaks and is more lethargic than its 2.3L T nephew. I currently own a 95 CSE 5spd, 140,000km and am needing to find something in the automatic form. Low and behold I found a 96 3.0 V6 CDE in wonderful condition with AERO seating option. It is at the local Saab shop which I trust and have purchase 2 of the 4 Saabs I've owned. The engine and transmission are covered by a 2 year warranty including gaskets, belts etc. The car has 170,000km on it, is black on black, has been in no accidents and is a one owner vehicle.

Should I be concerned? will this be as long lasting as my other Saab's provided belts and fluids are changed as needed? also can I use my B+G springs on this?

I look forward to your responses!
