possibilities (see post now pushed to "next" page : Brain Transplant to fix Low Boost?). We do get full boost with the BPC disbled, but the time before the fuel cutoff takes over is so short that it could be happening before the pressure bleeds off.

An evap check valve problem caused George's low boost issue. The ECU checks it's coil for open or shorts, which result in the engine warning light coming on, but we didn't see this indication. In an earlier problem with our 93 CSEt that sounds very much like Joe98's symptoms, "Fizzling boost" was caused by a weak DI, but we elminated that posibility in the current case by swapping DIs.

There seem to be several current cases of low boost; I have been corresponding off-list with Bill Homer because his post is several bages back. This list is a great way to collaborate!
