After 2 accidents last year running Summer Ultra-high preformance I did alot of searcing for the best "all season" to run this winter here in Chicago we don't really get enough snow to call for an all out snow tire but i can't afford any more body work!
I originally was going to go with the Dunloop winter sports but my Indie sold me on the WR's
They have been on since Sept. and have a real nice ride.
Although after install they only ran at 28psi, I just started runing the front at 32psi the rear at 35psi and they have a harder ride but the preformance is alot closer to the yokos I took off.
the nicest thing is they have 205/50/16's and at a higher speed rating than most. I do think I will be removing them for Summer track shoes again in spring the soft silica compound looks like it will wear fast on dry pavement
They Run Great! I ran them in 4"snow and Black ice in MI last weekend stuck to the ice like spikes in pretty hard turns and did very well in the snow almost no TCS light! they do have better cornreing tracktion than fwd though
