'96 9000 CSE - accident on slippery road!

On the first day of very bad icy and snowy weather, up here in the north of Maine, my '96 9000 CSE unfortunately slid front-on over a road, hit a metal sign, landing up in some bushes with thick branches.
The damage to the car is mostly to the front, the fenders having been pushed back about half to three quarters of an inch (both doors creak when opened now), and to the under carriage of the car where the bushes scrapped and took off the lower front spoiler, and other parts underneath the car. Hitting the sign itself also broke the right fog lamp, and dented the right side.
We have had a quote for the repairs, but what I am worrying about is whether there is some other damage underneath the car that we should watch out for that is possibly not evident now.
I am so upset about the accident, loving my SAAB as I do, so want to make sure that I cover all possibilities when it comes to what might have happened.
Any suggestions/thoughts will be gratefully received.
