While in a parking lot, my '93 9000CSE n/a would start up, run for a few seconds, and then stall. It wouldn't idle rough before stalling, it would simply run down to about 600-700rpm and then stall. It would fire right back up, run for a few seconds, and stop again. After a few tries, I managed to keep it running and decided to drive it around the parking lot before taking it out on the road. I kept it in second gear for most of the time and after a few minutes of parking lot cruising it started to stutter (this is what misfiring is, right?), and stalled again. It only did the stuttering thing once.

I checked to see if there were any CEL codes, but it didn't blink when I turned the key to the "ON" position without starting the car. I managed to get it to stay running at idle again, and drove to a gas station with no problem, thinking maybe it was due to low fuel (the gauge was just below 1/4). After refuelling, it began to stall again. Another few tries and it ran fine, and I didn't have any problems making it home in stop and go local traffic. The engine was not cold; I had driven to a few places before it started happening.

There is 127K on the clock; I just bought it about 700 miles ago.
The p/o replaced the mass air flow meter at 124K and the fuel pump at 99K, so I doubt it's one of those things.

I already ordered a DI cassette before this even started happening, since I don't have any record of that being replaced. But the car wasn't misfiring except for that one time. FWIW, the weather has gotten a little bit colder (from about 45F to ~20F). What should I be looking for?
