I would keep the car, the timing chain could deffinately be done low cost. If you are willing to go for a little drive, Damian Vincent of Swedish Automotive in Windsted CT is the most friendly, best, and least expensive saab mechanic I know. He can sometimes take a little while to fix a car, however, when there is a car that our local saab dealer cannot figure it out, they send it to him. He also has every part you would need just sitting there, I think he has 8 or 10 engines on the floor of the shop. If you want to get in touch with him the number is 860-379-7327. As for the window regulators, they go for 15-30 dollars on ebay. Hope this helps
