I will need to draw oil out the fill/check tube, then replace it. Doing this multiple times, to "change" the fluid. I should use strictly regular dino 10w30. Synthetic should not be mixed with dino, and lacking the drain plug, will not allow drawing all old dino out. (Sad to hear, as I am an avid believer in synthetics; I have and currently used M1 10/30 and Honda MTF in my 5-speed 900 LPT)
Is there a filter or such which needs to be cleaned? On the 900s, there are magnetic drain plugs, and/or screen filters for the oil. Seems weird why Saab would design a tranny with NO filter system at all!
