Ari is right that the cars have central locking.
I THINK that the 9000's do have an actuator on the driver's door though. If you lock the car from the center consol, or the passenger door, the driver's door locks. So, I think that the '93 and newer 9K's have an actuator in the driver door. As for the alarm issue, I'm not sure.
I think it would be easy to install an after-market remote system to a 9000...probalby easier than fitting a later model 9000 remote system to a car that doesn't have the remote locking.
