Go back into what was just disturbed. You were in the lamp assembly so the highest probability of something being moved/disturbed is there. First of all do no harm when going in to do something. Second visually inspect as you reassemble your victim when backing out.

Look at all the wires as they only contact the lamp buss tabs by cheap jam connectors. You might have to reinsert the wires to establish a low resistance connection. Also look at the grd cluster junction. Probably a grd since all function of flashers are lost.
