into into radiator for lime buildup. Replace and only use distilled water in the mix. I changed my 93's rad last fall due to a leak in plastic header tank pass side in mold mark. Its life had been with pure H2O only and was like new inside. Its cheap, why use tap and induce calcium? Ok out of pulpit.
Like the pro 89° side states, you don't need the 82. You need a functioning stat and a working pump and a free flowing rad. Some pumps have been reported as having bad impeller blades, see postings on that. You probably need new o-rings in the water pump anyway so it is a fair inspection for the buck. I still wish we had the gear driven top block water pump on my 900's. As for the heat going up when your getting on it realize your exhaust and turbo is cherry red when loading the engine (turbo or not) when haulin' butt. Dull red is common in exhaust sysems. Look at test stand pictures.
