is there any way to tell if the cruise system is the culprit for the base boost problem by disabling it alltogether? Say, by disconnecting the cruise computer, or pulling the cruise system fuses???

Or are the switches at the pedals wired directly into the main ecu?

keep in mind, my cruise light didn't come on for 2 years... until yesterday when i traced the problem to the old automatic shift selector... and jumped pins 3 and 4...

the cruise STILL isn't working though, which would suggest something in the system is still broken, and very possibly the pedal switches... so...

again, anyway to bypass them so i can see if the base boost is a result of the switches?
