This is exactly why I don't trust jiffy, sears, gas stations, anyone other than myself to change my oil. You cannot hire intelligent people if you are only charging 19.95 for 5qts of oil and a filter.

I have at least 2 friends who have had their oil drain plugs stripped by dumbass quick changes.

Here is the story to top all the rest:
My exgirlfriends dad took his brand new Lincoln Town Car to the mall to do some shopping and dropped it off at Sears to get an oil change while he shopped for shoes. Came back out, got in the car, turned it on, backed out of his parking space, put the car in D and looked down and saw to his dismay his OIL light was on. (Now at Sears, they actually have more of a mechanics bay, so they pull your car in, work on it, pull it out of the garage and park it in the waiting area.) He pulled his dipstick and found nary a drop of oil..>NONE! They drained his oil, and never refilled it, started it up and drove it into the parking lot...presumably with the oil light on the entire time.

By the time he left the store he had a contract signed by the store manager to replace his engine completely, if for any reason ever, during the unlimited time he owned it, there was any mechanical engine failure of any kind.
