mods that you believe rendered your 9K run better than stock.

-Restrictive air filter box: Use K+N filter and modify the air box such that it sucks air around the fog light.

-Use lower temp combination of thermoswitch + Tstat: keeping heat away so that the Head Gasket survives ans so does the 2.3

-Install a separate larger ATF cooler and inline oil-type filter

-Large oil filter (Purolater 30001) id space is not problem

-When in doubt use 50/50 synth/fossil for both engine oil and ATF

-No start when HOT: add a $5 ford selonoid

-Prolong heater core life and seal small leaks with Bar's Leak
