Hi David
The stock boost on the aero auto rarely touches the red zone ( it actually states this in the owners manual)
If all is working well it should boost into the red bars in all gears under full throttle. It took me over a year to get all the bugs out of my aero, and now that it running well I am very happy with the performance.
A bad bpc will give overboost or base boost or an annoying combination of the two.
If everything is working well your car will be very fast in stock form. Bypassing the built in safety features such as the BPC, fuse 9, disconnecting W hose etc will yeild very little actual additional speed but decrease the reliability of your components considerably.
You will be able to light the tires easier and have a bit more power off the line but tire smoke doesn't yeild forward momentum. Just think of the less than instant launch as a traction control system for faster launches vs wheel spin.
I have come to the conclusion that any additional performance mods are not really going to change my car into a dragster.
It is already faster than most vehicles on the road including modded hondas, most new v6 200+ hp cars and suv's. Its fun to suprise many of the -I have a fast car kids- with an unassuming 5 door.
Most cars that are faster are considerably faster. Chances are that even by adding 75hp would not get an aero auto much closer to full blown sports cars and exotics.
My aero is my daily driver and family hauler and I can't stand it when it is out of service so this is influecning my opinion.
