My radio had a loud "popping" sound that the saabradio guy can't replicate. I would buy an entire new system, but I prefer to keep the look of the car as stock. My wife not having a radio while the car is broken on the side of the road with 2 young kids does not bode well.
The boost problems can be hard to detect, and I'm trying to give the car time to adapt-up after finding the fuel-regulator down-pipe had fallen off. A question would be "do Automatics not boost as hard as manuals?" I can't get mine to boost into even the broken red lines. And how long should it take to adapt up?
I'm pretty sure I'm on the original pulleys. I didn't know they were that much of a fail item. My next link will be eeuroparts.com Anyone have part #s for those pulleys? That new layout of Eeuroparts is a bit iffy.
I'm in the military, and this car always breaks when I'm away. Combine that with my wife having to call the neighbor to come pick her up when it breaks and me being a Saab-fan, and people are starting to look at me with one eyebrow raised as to my love/hate relationship with these cars.
