There are a few of us here that have done this, and it worked out great! What you need is an ECU from a FPT car (CSE or Aero) and a BPC valve. You need to be careful with your ECU selection because there are some differences. What you'll need is one from a '96 or newer. I don't think TCS is an issue in the later model years, but make sure your ECU is for a NON TCS CAR!! Ask me how I know...
To do the upgrade, simply install the new ECU, hook up a BPC (valve w/three hoses mounted on the radiator shroud) and you off. It will take up to 100 miles for the ECU to adapt and for you to get full boost, by the way.
There is no issue with the security system, as that's a seperate ECU totally.
As I said, the easiest way to do this is to find a FPT ECU. But you could also go with a re-mapped one from one of the tuners. If I were you, I'd start with finding a FPT ECU, then later on doing a re-ampped one; you'll need a core anyways, so you could use your old one.
Hope this helps, is you have any more questions, feel free to e-mail me!
