Exhaust: maybe, but doubtful, since it would be increased at high RPM, where this only seems to be noticable at 1000-3000 RPM or so.

Since this only happens under acceleration and to a lesser extent when the transmission shifts into a lower gear under deceleration, it does not seem likely to me that the other possibilities you listed could be the cause. The wind noise and molding would be something that would be more and more noticable at high speeds I think, rather than mainly under acceleration in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears.
